I loved this scene. Officially team Klaroline.
When Klaus first showed up to save them from the witches, they shared a look and Caroline smiled. One of the best scenes in the finale.
I love them together, but it would never work as long as she’s a vampire and he’s human. He just wouldn’t do it.

The Gilbert ring was present in both the scenes where Elena turns her humanity off and where she turns it back on. What’s symbolic about this? Who does she throw Jeremy’s ring to? Damon. Who comes up with the plan to use Matt to spark some emotion in Elena? Damon. Even though Matt dying was what caused Elena to feel something, Damon helped allow her to feel something and was a big part in helping bring her humanity back to her.
