I will never get over the fact that Elena Gilbert was so happy after sleeping with Damon that she threw a party for herself.
I think Elena is finally realizing that she never really knew Stefan. How she thinks of him and how they were together wasn’t really real or true to who he is.
Damon’s Compulsion
Damon being able to break the compulsion has nothing to do with whether Damon or Elena love each other or how much they love each other. Compulsion doesn’t work that way.
To those Stefan fans that are talking about how Stefan fought it off. If you recall he ended up BITING Elena. Stefan and Elena were very much in love and that didn’t stop him from hurting her.
Damon did a much better job at fighting it off and he was willing to die rather than kill Jeremy. Stefan never asked Elena to kill him. Damon did all he could to stop himself.
My problem isn’t with Stefan doing bad things, hell Damon has done more than his fair share of questionable things. It’s his fucking hypocrisy and the way he dares to look Damon in the eyes and tell him that he is the bad brother, that he is the selfish one, that Elena deserves better than him. That is why I will never be able to respect Stefan.
